• How to Reserve? What is Required?
1. Complete our online Availability Request form. Let us know the exact dates you are interested in.
2. Email (or fax) the Availability Request form to us. We assure you a reply within 24 hours of your request.
3. Once we have confirmed that the house you would like is available, we ask that you reconfirm with us that you wish to reserve these dates.
4. You will then receive our rental agreement outlining all of the exact payment and arrival information for the house you have chosen.
The rental of the house will be quoted to you in American dollars or the equivalent in EUROS. You are required to sign a rental agreement in English to reserve the house and in French upon arrival in Bordeaux (an exact translation of the English agreement).
a. We require a 50% deposit to reserve the house.
b. The rental will not be confirmed until you have faxed, scanned or posted to us a signed copy of the rental agreement and paid 50% of the rental. At that time, your reservation will be firm and you will receive confirmation.
c. The remaining 50% payment is due one month before your reservation date.
d. Failure to comply with specific payment due dates can result in cancellation of booking.
e. We require 100% payment for any booking made later than 6 weeks before your reservation date.
• Forms of Payment
For all our apartments we accept:
# Visa, MasterCard, wire transfers and money orders (credit cards will be processed through our secure server and charged in EUROS).
# Wire transfers should be wired into our French bank account in EUROS (exact information will be supplied at time of confirmation).
# Money orders in EUROS should be sent to our office in Paris (exact information will be supplied at time of confirmation).
PLEASE NOTE: As is our policy, your deposit, or payment, is non-refundable unless we are able to re-rent the house for your dates. If we are unable to re-rent the house for the said dates, we reserve the right to keep 100% of your payment with the understanding that if we succeed in re-renting the apartment for said dates, we will refund accordingly. We will not be held responsible for cancellations for ANY REASON.
• Cancellation Insurance
Cancellation Insurance is the renter’s personal responsibility. We strongly recommend that you take out cancellation insurance for your trip. Your Bordeaux Vacation will not be held responsible for last minute cancellations for ANY REASON.

• Arrivals and Departures
Check in – 4 p.m.
Check out – 10 a.m.
PLEASE NOTE: If no one has left the morning you arrive, you may check-in as early as you like. In the case that someone has just vacated, please bear with us. We understand that after a long travel you will want to check in immediately. As the previous clients must leave by 10 a.m. and the maid will need to clean for 3-4 hours, the earliest that the house can be completely ready is 4 p.m. Nevertheless if someone is checking out the morning you arrive, we will meet you at the house as early as 10 a.m. to give you the key and check you in. Please just keep in mind that the maid will be cleaning around you. NOTE: Please supply us with your exact arrival information as soon as possible. We need this information in order to arrange for you to be met at the house when you arrive.
• Security Deposit
Upon arrival, we will take your credit card information as a security/damage deposit. In case of damage to the house or loss of a key, we will charge your credit card the following amount: 500 euros (or equivalent in other currency).
• Competence Clause / Jurisdiction
All eventual disagreements, or disputes, regarding the execution of your Bordeaux rental will be administered by French law and will fall within the competence of the Bordeaux courts.
